Sixty70: Update on the Ray Bradbury challenge of 52 short stories in 2017: To date, end of February, I've written 12 new short stories, which explains why I have nada completed on my novel. Balance is everything! Maybe a couple short stories in March, but the novel will be my main focus.

Thanks to all for the helpful reviews. I may re-post in March with revisions! If I can figure out how to do that.

    giraffmang: Good luck. In 2015 I managed 85 works of fiction and in 2016, I managed 64. (I also had a fair few non-fiction and poems chucked in for good measure too). It was exhausting but great fun, but then I write and edit quickly. All the best for a victorious 2017. :) -

    I personally had a challenge. In May 2013I joined Fan Story and i challenged myself to post 2 poems a night since. Except when i was away for a week and didn't have access to the internet I have managed to keep my challenge going.
    Do the maths 2 poems a day for 365 days time 3 plus 8 months( 60 per month) 480 That's 2670 poems! lol
    Bloody hell I have never done that calc. before? haha -
