    I think we just enjoy your work as it is The people that come to Fanstory come here to express themselves and to enjoy each others work not to steal or plagiarize. Suggest you calm down and just enjoy the site as it is.
    You CAN make it so its copyrighted and no one on here can copy and paste it appears quite easy. Ask someone like Dean he always copyrights and blocks his work from copy and pasting.

And if you've ever truly won any type of competition in your life that doesnt involve paying for victory then you would know that it doesnt matter whatsoever who likes you or not, a winner is a winner regardless of worthless opinions that usually come from. feelings. And yes, i read the whole thing on right to display, but that is not the same as to use. Dont act so high and mighty, its annoying. -

    If your poem is about a mother and son without a father in the family, then why would the father be "last but not least"?

    Just one flaw that might have cost you a vote or two. There are others.

    It IS a nice piece though, I'll give you that. But there are quite a few people here who can write you under the table. You have no basis for your arrogance and no call to be such a punk to everybody.

And arrogant? Lol this joke of a contest had little more than 15 voters! Ridiculous! I may have just been under the impression that this was a REAL contest from a legitimate website, not some circle of internet friends giving each other high fives for mediocrity. On that note, yes, i believe my work was far better than all except for one. Mind you the one I felt was better is the one i voted for. He not only wrote this powerful haiku about him, he was also called friend and was said to have loved Nobunaga's only sister. Despite all of that, it was Mitsuhide who had put an end to "Demon Lord" Nobunaga by betraying him and taking his life.

    I feel like that because the contest are the only merits available here on fanstory.com that are not paid for. "All time best", "Recognized"...these status features are only given by a certain number of reviews and reviews are only given to promoted work. Well to promote work one either needs to review a ton of others paid promotions or pay for promotions oneself. There isnt much satisfaction out of paying for victory, at least not to me. I was a champion once in the sport of wrestling and there was no greater feeling than the triumph and victory from all of my hard work or dedication to the cause. If i had simply become champion by means of currency it would have been a hollow victory with an empty reward. Make sense? -

You may think I'm crazy, but there is some bizarre power of the moon that is winding shortly to a closing end. It is supposed to never have happened during our lifetimes, wheter it true or not, I don't really know. They say it is the most opportune time of change, of an opening of a door of dreams beyond wildest, the extra extroidanary, but if you don't use it wisely and use in ill fate, the consequence could be severe and also not to expect or get ahead of yourself in such confidence either for it will cast a dark shadow upon you...     DR DIP: I have been reading your poem reviews and they are great You are an excellent poet and I'm not pissing in your pocket or sugar coating you with pats on the back as you say. Just one thing don't take critique too harshly when it appears condescending. The world is made up of many fellow poets who have very diverse opinions and tastes. "What one's person's trash is another's treasure.
    Everyone sees poetry with different eyes I suppose what that cliche' is saying.

    Keep the quil well inked and the spark of inspiration burning.

PAIKNE85: I've been fishing around a bit on fanstory.com this evening at different authors work, the rankings and just the reality of this site and I am a little disappointed. Most online games these days require almost no real skill to become one of the world top ranked players or even champion due to a system I call "pay to win". Anyone, regardless of experience or actual talent has the option to basically buy their way to greatness instead of having to earn it...a concept that honestly makes me sick. After viewing several authors and several works here on fanstory, and after seeing things like rankings or promotion options I believe this site is doing the same thing most online games do. Poetry and being an author has always been sacred to me even if we are a dime a dozen! I truly hope I am mistaken, but surely time will tell. Verity always comes with the passing of time, always.
