Poet X: Nature vs. Nurture. Product of our environment vs victim to our circumstance. It's in our nature as people to survive and even better we have the strength to carry burdens no one will ever see. So what makes us see each other so differently, we all are have a battle raging inside even if our ego is our worst enemy. So where is the lack of empathy? In society we have chosen to merely survive, find a way to get by just one more day. What about our upbringing, what is it that is keeping us from sharing each others struggles when studies show that most of us are conflicted by the same devils. Has media, politics, entertainment etc. conditioned us to see our fellow brothers and sisters as expendable strangers, casualties in an every race to the riches? What about YOUR upbringing, whether from rags to riches or rags to slightly cleaner rags, has shaped how you see your fellow man and woman? Are people born with money born at a compassionate disadvantage to empathize. While do poor people always seem to be the one that give the most, and why is it that the richest people do the most ugliest things in the name of greed? |

Poet X: Walking alone but in the midst of a crowd. Maintaining a steady pace as the rest continue their race. Without a trace and without direction, patience is my only weapon. Searching for this place I've only seen in my dreams. -Poet X |

Poet X: Life has led us down twists and turns, left with nothing but lessons learned. I hope these words come across as sincere, I hope I'm forgiven for the things that were left unclear. All that is in the past, looking forward to making this dream last. -Poet X |
