Sueellen11: What is going on with these contest, I reserved a spot in dear god then entered the story,, and it did not post in the contest,, when is used the contest submit entry button,, this is crazy,, not the first time it's happened either and not only me,it's happened to another I know of,, not fair,,
    IndianaIrish: It really isn't a big deal. All you have to do is send Tom. PM and tell him what you want entered into the contest. I think most people have dome this at one time. Tom will fix it. -

Why did a entry that did not win have a winning badge attached to the accomplishment on the page,,, there was a three way tie,, they have their badge and so does the person who came second,, did this person also get part of the three way ties monetary win,, just asking,, how before the voting has ended this win was showing on the persons page,, when voting ended,, this person did not win,, but has the badge assigned to the story,, seems a bit strange,,, I have no problem,, with the person,, but I have concerns with the contest,, this is not the first time I have seen issues with these prompts and writing prompts,, I might add I did not have an entry into this contest,,I just read, review and vote on all contest,,,sue

    Sueellen11: Yes there has been a few hiccups on site. This seem weird though it's not the first time I have noticed issues though, -
    Malachai: You are not alone in your questioning of winning badges and winning poems. Something feels amiss but I just love poetry so I continue to write and read. I trust there is always justice. I personally would like to know who the contest commitee consist of and how they base the winners on what poetic talents. Did they take classes with them? I must be honest and say I hope it is not the people that spend the most money on this site to be seen and heard that would be very sad and not spiritual in any way. I also have heard of a top rated poet here who actually stole a poem of another that was copywrited why would he still be on the site. It is illegal and not ok. So be it, I have stated my truth. I as a member want to know who the commitee is and how they rate the poetry involved in site contest. One other thing it seems that people who have more fans get more votes for work that may not be the best. So bringing truth to light always requires response let us all discuss this and may God light our way. -
    Sueellen11: Yes my friend I must agree with you,, there seem to be unfairness in these contest,,no wonder a lot of friends don't enter them, there sure is a pattern and codes happening, and sour grapes best way to stop votes for one entry is to privately message friends and tell them not to vote for a certain entry, these blind entries are a fast,, we know are fans writing style so a lot of that is happening I have only been on the site a few months and I know my fans and who I follow their presentation,, their writing styles their colour schemes and such,, and if I can work it out howbeit for the ones that are old hands,,, I agree the voting system is not fair,, when you see the same writers winning all the time,, no one else gets a fair go,, same with the reviewing contest,, what's the use of nominating someone when the same person win month after month,, that is not fair, seeing the same winner time after time,, starts to wear thing no wonder people stop nominating , I spend hrs upon hrs reviewing to try and build that funny money up to be able to promote my work,, just the other day I spent the 9.95 to promote a poem,, use 7 prompts and still only got to page 1 in 12 spot supposed to be on home page I was on home page not even 24 hrs, and the prompt and certificate was for 3 days,, it's not fair I have seen poems and stories on home page that have been there for weeks, is it because we are poor and can't afford to use our real cash to buy this funny money, because you sure can't make money reviewing,, no wonder I got messages saying they only review the prompted works,and don't bother with the 2 cent postings,,I review everyone even if they are only 2 cents,, not wonder you font get the reviews only from ones fans, if it wasn't for our fans one wouldn't get reviewed for only 2 cents,, yes I agree it is. Little unfair,, there I have had my say too,, ha ha,, but I too like you love to write and read the great talent on this site,,blessings my friend, -

Sueellen11: Thank you my friend for voting for my first attempt a a sort of story,,the day the world stood still ( on 911),, the story was based on one hero who gave his life to save a lady,,, that day I sat by the tv,, watching her story unfold,,, my heart broken so this humble attempt at a story is dedicated to her and her hero,,,, I know many did not like the fact i put a poem in it,, but that was my full intention,,, but I am so grateful for the votes you gave it,,, it won in a tie,,, thank you all so very much,,,blessings to you all,sueellen
