An aspiring writer whose disdain for the mundane makes her wonder if the apocalypse hasn't already happened.

I have always been considered a creative individual. I tend to go above and beyond the expectations of those around me and attach my own personal flair. But I have always been conservative, doing what is safe and secure. People have been telling me my whole life that I should be a writer, but we all know that is neither safe nor secure. So I got a real job using my skills to tell painfully static stories.

Then I watched the Ninja risk everything in the pursuit of happiness. I was envious. Why couldn't I be so bold and brave? I couldn't come up with an answer, so here I am. Risking it all in pursuit of my dream.
