nhinchliff: Very busy at the BnB...no time to write. Working from 5 am to at 10 pm (with a few breaks to eat, etc.). I've had a full house for ten days in a row...exhausted but happy. October is our busiest month. Miss being here, bantering back and forth, and reading everybody's stuff. Be back soon. |

nhinchliff: Just updated my profile page. Trying to get some more chapters together, from my new memoir, ready to post here. Extremely busy at BnB now. Hard to find time to write and socialize on-line. |

nhinchliff: Some of you may have noticed lately I'm not reviewing as much as I usually do. It's because I'm working on my second memoir (Roxie, Alfred and Me) and have gotten hung up on the time-line and all the research I've had to do. I've only posted two chapters so far and as soon as I figure out what happened when, I'll post the next one. *Note: (to nor84) This is not an advertisement. |

Thanks for the info. Take your time, and good luck. - | ||

nhinchliff: OK....figured out how to post videos here. What about pictures? Tammie, you post pictures all the time. How do you do it? |
||
|
nhinchliff: I have no trouble putting videos or pictures on a page I'm writing. I know how to upload. But how do you put them on your profile page??? |

nhinchliff: Will someone please tell me how to post videos and pictures here. Thanks, Nancy |

nhinchliff: How come my comments aren't showing up below? Guess I really don't know how to navigate these pages....Nancy |

nhinchliff: In my opinion, these are some of the characteristics needed in a prose piece to qualify for a six star review: -Excellent hook at the beginning, making the reader want to read on -Good writing ...the kind I want to read...clear, flowing, easy to understand (not filled with SPAG). -Content is interesting, builds up tension as it goes along. -Everything said and done moves the story along with no superfluous stuff to get in the way. -Although there may be a mini-resolution along the way, the end of a chapter leaves me with lots of questions and the compelling desire to read more. - A good story arc (mostly for fiction) |

nhinchliff: I am very happy. I won my first contest here yesterday for a non-fiction piece. I'm not really a competitive person, but it sure did feel good to get that little ribbon. |

nhinchliff: I am in the process of submitting my first memoir for publication. So far, I've gotten some good response but have not firmed anything up as yet. I have started a second memoir and am spending a lot of time trying to get the first draft down. |
