cottoncandy11: I started singing with a band at 14. I started appreciating the lyrics of such great songwriters, that could play music as well as sing. Anyone else is second rate. My favorites are Van Morrison, Chris Issac, Simply Red, and Enigma, just to name a few. I learned in Catholic Boarding School how to speak, read, and write Latin. Enigma uses a lot of Latin, French, and great mood music in general. Alas, in my mind there will not be another group like The Beatles, together or alone they turned my world upside down. Latin is not as hard as people may thing because just two simple words can mean several words in English, i.e. mea culpa (through my own fault). I became disabled because I was in two head-on collisions, which were not my fault and I received six neck and back surgeries. I don't want people to feel sorry for me because I am not in a wheelchair, but I am always in pain. I use the pain for inspiration good or bad. I cry at the drop of a hat, a real weeper I happen to be. I write my poetry not based so much from experience, but from what I wish I could experience. I am slowly working on a novel about a parallel universe and it is a slow work in progress, but there has not been anything like this subject broached that I am aware of, so this is what prompted me to begin this story. I sincerely feel that there is not anything in life that has touched us more than dysfunction. I have been told I am different, whether that is good or bad I don't know and probably never will. I say what is on my mind because I have a right to do that, but I treat people they way I wish to be treated and think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, not to be argued by us but to be respected. So, I think that covers it for now. Hope you liked learning about me. |
