T.A. Walk: Hello everyone! How was everyone?s day? I got almost 3000 words down today! WOO!!!
    nor84: Wow! I wrote a short story around 2500 words. Took me at least 24 hours -
    T.A. Walk: If I get in a good groove and I?m vibing well I shoot right down the page. It is not an everyday occurrence. Also, these novels have been planned out for quite some time. Sounds like you were planning and whatnot as well. Congrats on a productive day! -


T.A. Walk: For those of you not having the Valentine?s Day of your dreams, hang in there! We didn?t get ours either this year, so I?m spending my time writing alone. Just remember that no matter what, someone does love you today!!


T.A. Walk: What do some of you do to get the creative juices flowing on your bad days? I?m having one of those days where I?m just feeling lonely. A rainy day, everyone is busy... Trying to ?get in the zone? so to speak! Any ideas?
    mrsmajor: That's an interesting question...I would have to say, I write down all that I'm thinking, the very reasons why I might be feeling down, not necessarily in poetic or essay form, but just notes, words, feeling, and even idea as to what You would like to see happen that would make your mood change. Sometimes looking back at those words, no matter how few, one can come up with words worth writing...I do that when it seems like there's nothing I could say worth reading...try it, you might like that idea.

    nor84: Well, you might focus on the rain itself. Write a story with the main character trapped somehow because of a storm. Something happens. What is it? Is he somehow suddenly in a worsening situation?

    I've never tried this, but it just might work.

    Right now, I'm in the desert and we're under a high wind warning. I can hear the wind actually crying out in a weird cry. I know the sound is only the wind whistling around the chimney... But what if it isn't? What would happen next? -
    T.A. Walk: Funny you say that nor84, I was just writing a scene with a storm, and it?s pouring outside. It does work I guess! -
