Nathan Moon: I'm on a path to learn. That's what this is for? Yes, surely. I can learn and learn some more. But passion is what sails it, takes away from being a dream. Someday, maybe even I'll see. We're all looking at something. |

I have am pleased that you are on FanStory. This is a place to step outside academia and learn from a worldwide variety of writing, both good ad bad. Sometimes FanStory seems to absorb all one's writing time, but you will soon learn that even bad writing may provide valuable lessons by allowing you to see where author's may have gone wrong. When you understand why you and others like or dislike a piece, your own writing will be better. i have been a professional science and technology writer for over forty years, but each review ggive me new insight. Good luck an always remember no writer good or bad, ever achieved anything by not writing. Write! Write! Write! Note: My wife Marilyn has been my writing partner for fifty years, this month. You will find things we wrote individually and together in our portfolio. James 'Roger' Callahan -
It was almost a fluke--finding fanstory. I was on Facebook and saw an ad for a contest being hosted on here. Needing to do something other than write, I joined. I soon found myself buying a membership, and sharing with people my writing, and also, enjoying theirs. It is wonderful to have a site that brings totally like minded people together! Although I hope to do well in the contest--as I have won a few in the past--I find it is more than that. If I am to be a good writer, I will listen first, and then write. Thank you! Nate Moon -
