Majicman: This quote is so true. Because we know that life is eternal, and we know that there is no ending to that which you are about, if one of you is killed in an earthquake or crashes your plane, or any number of other very creative ways you have found to make your exit into the Non-Physical, because we know the whole picture, we grieve not a moment for any of you. But from your more shortsighted point of view in physical, a lot of you grieve tremendously. --- Abraham |

Majicman: Andrew Cohen is full of wisdom. Here is another great quote I've discovered today and I would like to share it. The Purpose of Mystical Experience As I see it, the purpose of mystical experience is to convince us, at a soul level, that our true nature is Spirit, to convince us so deeply that we are liberated from existential doubt. Why? So we will finally be available to participate, consciously and wholeheartedly, in the greatest gift we've been given, which is the life we are already living right now. |

Majicman: I just read another great quote today from Andrew Cohen, and I want to share it because it reflects the essays I've been submitting. If you aspire to become an evolutionarily enlightened human being, your ability to do so depends upon accepting the simple fact that independent of external circumstances, you always have a measure of freedom to choose. That sounds like a simple statement, but it's amazing how many intelligent people will deny it. When you look honestly for yourself, however, you will see that it is true: you are always choosing. Sometimes your choices are conscious; sometimes they are unconscious. Sometimes they are inspired by the best parts of your self; other times they are motivated by lower impulses and instincts. But the bottom line is that every time you act or react, at some level a choice is being made. And you, whoever you are, are the one who is making that choice. After all, who else could it be? |

Majicman: I saw this quote this morning and I thought it was worthwhile to share: Spiritual development, as I understand it, is about compelling ourselves, through the power of our own inspired will and intention, to actually evolve. And in order to evolve. to consciously evolve, you first need to get to know the multidimensional nature of who you are and how you are. You need to be able to recognize and understand what constitutes your interior world, the infinite nature of the spiritual ground of your own being, the higher human capacities that make conscious evolution possible, and also the unconscious conditioned structures that can obstruct and obscure that potential. You need to examine the fundamental dimensions of the self, both relative and absolute; understand the unique challenges and potentials of the cultural context in which we find ourselves; and cultivate those higher human capacities that can enable you to participate in such a bold and significant task as the evolution of the interior of the cosmos. ~ Andrew Cohen |

Majicman: I've been back for a few days now. The weather was beautiful in Yellowknife, and I had fun with my grandchildren, sleigh riding, swimming, games, laughs, magic, etc. Now to get back to some writing. |
||
|
Majicman: I'm leaving in the morning to fly to Yellowknife N.W.T. to visit my grandchildren. I'll be returning April 6th. I'll miss you all. |

Majicman: Today, I'm off to art. Each Tuesday afternoon I go to our art club and paint for 3 hours. It is very relaxing and lets the creativity flow in another form. |

Majicman: I'm off this afternoon to do a magic show for a seniors home. They really appreciate volunteers coming in to create a few smiles. |

Majicman: Because of some of my comments, some people think I am an atheist. I would like to briefly explain my philosophy. I believe we are all a part of Life Energy, or Spirit-That-Moves-Through-All-Things. Collectively we are God - collectively we have created this world we live in. With Intent we create our reality. So therefore, I am not an atheist. I just think Jesus was an enlightened soul who tried to tell the world that we are much more than physical beings. We are soul living in a physical body, gaining experiences. Over the centuries people have distorted the message he was trying to give, in the name of Christianity. At the same time, millions of people need the security of a belief in something beyond themselves, and Christianity fulfils that vacuum for them. I believe we are totally responsible for all of our actions, because collectively we are God, not some entity sitting out there on a throne handing out rewards and punishments. |

It is always amazing to find someone else out there whose thoughts on the Universe,the Absolute, the Primary Cause, God (whatever term one wishes to call the Divine of which we are all a part) falls in line with my own. You are certainly not alone. - | ||
