Giddy Nielsen-Sweep: How we feel
The gentle breeze
Of passing years


Giddy Nielsen-Sweep: I joined FanStory in 2010, so last July I had my fifth anniversary. It is thanks to reviewers and teachers on the site that I have been able to develop as a writer and poet. I may not be brilliant at either of these, but at least I can take my place with some confidence and knowledge. I owe you guys a lot and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Most of all though, it is thanks to my devoted husband and carer, Pete, that I am able to have this interest at all. My photo shows me at the computer with large screen he has set up for me with my headphones on.
    Linda Engel: I have a large screen , also. I don't know how I ever wrote or read without it. -

I wanted to have a sticky beak at a little about you and am so sorry to learn you you get around in a chair but despite that, you sound like a very positive person and I for one can truly say, that your encouragement and support in your reviews I my writing, whether of my poetry or my novel, has lifted me up every single time I see your name.     fan. I was so proud when I got the message. My first thought was that you must be originating from Denmark. Right or wrong? Anyhow, I saw that you live in Australia, this vast and strange but beautiful continent. Some years ago I visited Australia. I stayed in Sydney and Melbourne. I also had the opportunity to play golf there. The pro told me however that I shouldn't go looking for the balls outside the fairway, there might be some 'small friends' out there.
