I have a wonderful life, a wonderful husband of close to 23 years now, a still bratty 32 year old son. I am a very spiritual being, and very much an empath, almost to my detriment sometimes! I play guitar and piano, and love to sing and write songs.

My jobs, all fun: I work for RPC Global, a computer recycler, I landscape an historical cemetery, and I run a no kill animal shelter here in Houston. Oh, and I volunteer my services for raccoon rehab & release.

At my shelter, we take in some of the hardest, and saddest cases. One of our dogs, Sweetie, was found with half of her face and lower jaw shot off in 2002, and is now the very first dog in the USA to have had a face transplant, though there is still a bullet in her head that could not be removed. Video of her surgery is now used by Vet Specialists in teaching them to perform face transplants. Once they get here, for the most part, are here for life. They have been abused, and once here, will never experience abuse again. They live in comfort, that includes tv's and air conditioning in their houses! Essential here in Houston. If you like, you can check out all of my animals at http://www.petsrelyonpeople.webnode.com.
