Kaze: Back from hell.

Kaze: I can't BELIEVE it's already August 20. WHAT THE HECK!!! SCHOOL STARTS IN LIKE 2 WEEKS! ARGH!

Kaze: So it's about as hot as hell here in Toronto... 42 degrees celsius to be exact.

"Ambulances in Toronto are receiving 51 per cent more complaints about breathing problems compared to the same time last year. EMS officials say that fainting calls have climbed 39 per cent and that overall ambulance calls has jumped 13 per cent since 2009."

Seriously?! 51%?! urgh...
Border Reiver: I visited Toronto 8 years ago and it was 42 degrees. But it's not the heat that kills you but the humidity. I've not been to many places as humid as Toronto, it was very unpleasant. Where I lived in Spain it did get to 42 often in the summer, but as it was a dry climate you could just stoll along the street - in the shade obviously. -
Kaze: Yes, it's definitely humidity that kills. Dry heat is tolerable, but the humidity and smog makes it hard to breath. Blegh. -

Kaze: I'm a few days late on this one, BUT I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINISHED MY BOOK!! AHH!!! If you're reading this, go check it out! It's called "Wolves Among men"!!!
Arkine: Well, I'm a day late on this, but congratulations! It takes a lot to actually finish ... but it feels so good when you do. ;) -

Kaze: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Today I finished my 4th year at university. Normally that would be when one graduates, but I just love school too much for that *sigh*. Either way, this year was particularly gruelling with craploads of essays. Now that I'm done, I'm glad to say I'll have more time to write stuff I enjoy. YAYYY.

Kaze: <-- Me and my beautiful malamute.

I've found that in my life there have been so many opportunities that I had given up on--opportunities that could have gotten me somewhere great if only I had the will power and courage to stick to them.

After all the failures, and all the chances I've let slip through my fingers, I've found that the one thing I've always stuck to is writing. Writing is a beautiful gift. It allows you to say something to the world, to bring out your inner-most experiences, and shape the word both within and outside of you. Writing brings you close to the humanity you've lost throughout all the hardship and misguided socialization. Writing is the cure.

At least, it's my cure.
Kathryn Varuzza: It's my cure too. :) -
HannahMugford: your writing is what cures me! -
Kaze: LOL I love you Hannah. -
