Charlotte11 was raised in a military family and was strictly warned that actors were immoral and destructive people. She is a former actress and long-time writer for the stage, specializing in sketch comedy and one-woman shows. She has several published magazine articles on women's issues and a published one-minute play. She is currently raising a daughter with her painter/programmer husband of 20 years in a suburb on Long Island. She fell backward into working part-time teaching character development to young children in schools, using original puppet shows. She also teaches puppetry workshops and improvisation, and performs at children's parties.

She is currently at work on her first novel, an inspirational murder mystery/romance.
