Gert sherwood is now retired from working hand and hand with her hubby in his Consulting Engineering business; to a happy full time homemaker. She has four grandchildren and three great Great grand children
Her hobbies are, gardening, loves to write, and exercising,.

Gert enjoys reading other poets work and is thankful for the opportunity to share her work, including poems from her recently published book (Simple Words).
And presently working on six self published poem/books.. You will find her poetry written in a variety of formats with happy and sad themes. She enjoys expressing her thoughts into meaningful words and portraying vivid images.
