ShirleyT is a wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband pastor a five-fold ministry in their local town. After working thirty-one years for the same employer, ShirleyT retired from the position of Manager of Human Resource and Administrative Services at an electric cooperative. During this time she authored many human resource and administration service related articles and materials. Now as co-pastor of a church, she writes the teaching material used in her church. She also speaks at Christian conferences and Women's Conferences.

ShirleyT also writes for her local newspaper.

With her first book under her belt, she is currently working on her next book, 'A Kiss from Momma' which is based on the true story of the death of her twenty-six year old son. Once she finishes this book, her concentration will be on fiction.

One of her favorite authors is Christian fiction writer, Robert Whitlow.
