I loved reading this excerpt because it was well written, peaked my curiosity, and also because of the Native American flavor. I once had a co-worker friend who was half Navajo, and for some reason many people thought we were sisters. They didn't even ask, they just assumed we were, although I don't have any sisters. Anyway, this brief section of a book brought me back in time.

Thank you for your enthusiastic review. I'm glad you could relate to it. The earlier chapter 1-13 are about us rescuing teens from trafficking. It's gets political near the end of them because as I'm sure you know, there is criminal poverty. I have invited many new to the series, to go onto my portfolio to read the previous chapters. I really enjoyed this. Especially liked the use of internal dialogue. At the start it showed that something wasn't quite well in a powerful way. The story is interesting and easily kept my interest. Well written!

Now your story moved from a detective/mystery/adventure one of getting those girls rescued to one that is more fantasy. Lots of cultures have stories about shape-shifters. It's very cool that this one was so compassionate and giving. Wonder if the adventure will be in their dreams or in reality.

This was a great continuation chapter Liz. Kia Zita gave them each what they needed, the bread, the berries and the sleeping drink. Liz was able to figure out that Kia Zita was indeed a shapeshifter. She spoke words of wisdom when she came across the two girls. You did a great job with this one.

I talked with Anne last night. She been having pain for years somewhere in her back area for many years. She said, a doctor she went to see had come out of retirement for some reason. It turns out her took her off the pain meds and has been having her use pain patches. They've been working. She has been pain free for 3 months. She's got so much energy. She sounded so much better. She has junked all of her computers and is getting a new one. I hope she gets everything back into a normal routine. She sends her best.

Wow, thank you Liz on the update regarding Anne. I knew she was having pain issues and spent several messages talking to her about different options. Glad to hear the patches are working. LOL it seems as if she kept adding pieces to her old computer, perhaps with the new one things will go well. Sure do miss 'Mugs'.

She's been writing long hand...imagine...more of Mugs. I discovered something very cool. Everything we write on her is on-line. I wanted to see something about my Be Wee With Bea book that published and I discovered the whole Part 2 on there. I just "googled" Liz ONeill Be Wee With Bea Part2 and there it was. Also my current one Traffic is there if I "google" each chapter one at a time. Our poems are there too. Everything we write is there. Some might find that, a risk of some sort, but I think it is cool.

This was a very interesting chapter. An unexpected twist, but it works. It's well-written, very realistic. The girls are lucky Kai Zita came to them when she did.

Hi Liz, another fine chapter and shape shifting I thought was just in the terminator movies, love the person into an animal for healing reasons and the chaptor shows that well. Cheers Colin x
