Judester,
Yes winter does peek from behind the fall curtains of beauty. But it knows that it's turn to blanket all is coming...so winter waits and watches ...
I liked your entry Judester. Well written

I like this. When I first read it, I clicked off of it to read the next one but then went right back to it. It took me three viewings for me to catch what you intended by your phrasing.. very artistic.

Ha! Where I used to live, winter was anything but patient, but having moved south, I'd say it is. It doesn't last long and it arrives quite late. A nice change of pace - I like that winter "peeks".

I really enjoyed this as it speaks of the patiently waiting season, I have often wished these seasons would just come at the dates man has made up for them. Nice picture and write.

Oh, I'd really like it to stay behind the drapes for as long as possible -- and even keep the peeking to a minimum... LOL! :) :) A beautiful offering for the contest here with a wonderful metaphorical image! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;)

I always think that the winter is the longest season and once it sets in there is no shifting it. Spring and Summer are my favourites, a fine write, love Dolly x

Me too. Missed my cabin this summer. 15 minutes away... but in Canada. I will have to think up some fun and clever projects for the impending winter, brrr. Thanks for the review, cheers, j
