This is so cosy, tiny, happily together! They seem two old friends and a life time friendship or even more. Beautifully written and told throughout the picture selected, too! Suggestion: Centralize the layout and drop the third line capital letter and add a comma at the end of the second line if you like and then give a look at it! I did read the Writing Prompt notes! Great work and congratulations and cheers for the victory!

I read this over and over. It says so much in just three lines. How simple things are in 1st grade, love is pure and without an agenda. Though life takes twists and turns as we grow older the simplicity of 1st grade love should always remain. Very nice job

Nice poem with the details of a couple of children learning and teaching each other, bringing new challenges in their lives as, for example, to tie shoelaces. Picture brings some freshness to the poem, nicely shown under the rain.
