This story is super cool. I'm sure when you have the chance, you'll write full time because this feels like I'm watching The Breedline tv show series. And I love angels... (the fact that they're bigger than man, is my favorite thing about them.) I loved that you added a hint of God or Christianity into the story which I don't see very often. It definitely sets you apart. So Jena succumbed to the curse? Well, I'll be looking forward to the next chapter!

You just made my day! This chapter is from my fifth book, The Immortal. Since I'm working on the next book (The Curse), I've been adding some of my previous chapters for readers who have not read them. It really makes me feel good to hear you say you liked that I added God and Christianity to my story. I've actually had a few readers try to talk me into leaving it out. But, why would I do that??? I believe this world needs more of it. Plus, my Breedline characters are Christians. They are created by God to protect humans from the dark forces. I will stand by what I believe in. Thank you for your encouragement. It means a lot to me.

Something I can't remember from the original story of Ashton, Nicholas, Jena, the final demise of Ashton, that only Jena in her monster could destroy him. The battle angels arrayed in all their power and might. Not to mention, Jem, Jace and all the covenant plus, this is an amazing story from an amazing Author Shana, , well done blessings Roy

As I go back and reread my books, I sometimes forget parts of the story as well. LOL! Especially my first three books which I'm going back and revising those as well. I believe you can always make a story better.

So glad you enjoyed the action. It's funny... when I went back and reread this chapter, I'd forgot some of it. LOL! I guess as writers move on to another story, the past seems to fade a little. Anyway, that happens to me.

What an intense chapter. So much so that the end came up quick, too darn quick. Your chapter is very well-written, gripping start to finish. Your description is perfect it made me feel like I'd warped into their world, picturing it for myself. The character's thoughts, action and dialogue seemed realistic. I do hope Jenna will survive the fatal fall.
