I love this, Amada. I love viewing nature from the eyes of a child. This poem reminds me of my childhood days, exploring nature, beyond the textbook. Children of this generation have many digital distractions, and may not enjoy nature as we did. Thank ypu for sharing. I hope you are doing well.

A very well-written nature 5-7-5 about waking on the grass bare feet is one of the great joys of a smal child to feel the grass tickle them underneath their feet.

What a precious picture you have chosen to go along with your lovely words. Certainly her 'toes and soul' appear to be joyful. She appears to not yet have been affected by the horrors that this world can inflict.
