Dear Beth, even your random memories were written so well that I had no trouble following.
I think that you mentioned the fads And fashions of the time, Gave every reader something to relate to.

Your review of 1975 brings back so many of my own memories of those times. The part about the Citizen Band radio was funny. Lost kid! Our boy was taught to find a store adult and tell his mom and dad were lost. This happened a half a dozen times.
Church boards! Who knew?
This is memory gold, Beth.

Thanks so much for the review and comments. It wasn't the last time a lot a kid. It lost the twins at Mardi Gras but it was the last time I forgot I had one with me and went home without looking. LOL

I'm so glad Connie was alright. I lost my youngest in Wal-Mart once. We were eating at McDonald inside the store, he decided to play inside the ball pit. I turn around and he's gone. I panicked of course. MY hubby found Johnathan on Ronalds lap. I must've passed him a dozen times in my search. Your story is well-written, very interesting start to finish. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much to for the review and comments. Those little one can get away so fast. It's funny he was on Ronald's lap. It understandable they get away on their own but it is unforgivable when the mother forgets she even had them with her.

You probably had a lot on your mind being a working mom and all. there's no sense in beating yourself up for it, years later.

Entertaining as always--kissing cousins! (Reminds me of a great bit from TV show FRASIER:
1) I'm in town to attend my cousins' wedding.
2) Which one's your cousin, bride or groom?
1) They both are.
2) I see, so they're "kissing cousins."
1) They did a lot more than kissing. That's why they have to get married.

(to disconnected to be unpleasant s/b too disconnected as to be; she was the more vocal of us s/b most; excavator s/b escalator; newlywed is one word)

Hey--back to thank you--I just won a lucky lep cert. AND a banner ad supreme, total value in funny money $7.90

Thank you so much for the review and the help with the spags. I got a chuckle from you Frasier dialogue. I'm glad you go the Lucky Lep. I've never found those banner ads to work. They don't work at all on long things, but they may work on a flash.

I'm skeptical that any of them work--esp. on long pieces.

Judi says same re banners. I only use them when I win one--hard to say if it makes any difference--I only get half the lower estimate anyway.

My parents and I use to go to an amusement park here in Massachusetts when I was a child, it was demolished for condos, like your park was. Interesting about being on the school board and the issue of letting a teacher go, not an easy decision. I enjoyed reading your memoir. you have had a busy life.

Thank you for the review and comment. Most Amusement Parks are in areas where they mean more money to the owners as condod/. That is sad. I was so upset when they got rid of Opera Land in Tennessee. We loved going there.
