What a wonderful offering, my lady, that takes the rain and metal metaphors and truly weaves a song for the ages! ;) :) I really enjoyed your use of 'ing' words in some of your rhymes as those always seem to have a tune of their own! ;) Thanx for sharing, Tina!! ;) Yvette

Tina,
Well written poem reminding your reader that our trials and problems are
what life has to offer and God is near.
This is inspirational and uplifting to those who are struggling particularly during these troubling times.
Good work.

I enjoyed the lilting rhythm of your poem very much... in fact I started singing it while I was reading it, as it flowed like song lyrics. It is a wonderful poem of faith, acceptance of coming out the other side of life's dramas with wisdom, and trust.

In my opinion, another "Exceptional" write - just gorgeous - since this is my second read and review, I guess I'll be missing stars earlier than usual today - so smooth in rhyming rhythm - I love it when the rhyme is pure as this is.
I only have one suggestion regarding one spot in the rhythm - with your permission - that of deleting one word in the entire poem - the word 'as' in the last line of the first stanza. As I said, a truly "Exceptional" write - the spiritual beauty of the rhyming descriptions are breathtaking...

I think this is a lovely poem! The rhythm is bouncy and consistent, and I like that you gave your poem a beginning, middle and end. I think the fifth stanza is my favorite.

That was absolutely gorgeous. It had the most amazing imagery, visuals, metaphors and about every poetic device that makes poetry beautiful.
Loved your abab rhyming, flow, meter and cadence; amazing imagery and visuals.
As preludes to winds are now whirling,
my heart starts a woeful tune,
for soon deadened leaves will be twirling,
beneath the blue of the moon.
How beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I like this line the best, there is musicality on it: "Ss raindrops from heaven are falling,tap-tapping a dance on my roof..." This is a strong poem about a fierce faith. Your lines are compelling.

Fierce Faith...I love the phrase. May I use that later in a poem?

This is a beautiful rendering of God's purposes and how we are targets sometimes for a purpose. The refining process is an excellent example and rain for growth is spectacular. I loved this poem.
