This is absolutely beautiful. The picture, the colors, the words and rhymes, the meaning behind it. The information you put forth into this and the care and love you have for earth clearly shows oh so powerfully. I love your writing style here and the care you have for Mother Earth is mutual and I feel it a lot when I read this. It's sad, but true. I do truly believe this isn't the end; but only the beginning of the healing the earth needs. What an awesome message you have shown in your poem.

A very heartfelt free verse offering of sympathy and of supplication for/to the planet putting oneself above most of mankind that are "unaware"... I would suggest, perhaps, that you use less capitalization especially when it is not the beginning of a thought or a 'sentence'... Best of luck to you in the contest...
