Hmmm Strange again. But that is what you are intending of course. She doesn't get to make her point either. Who is really gonna be in charge in that place?

Hope you're tracking things in your head... like I said, this is one of my 'involved' fantasies so there's a lot going on... ;) :) Yvette

Hi Yvette, this story is delightful and so very well told. When I first start reading, I find that I can't stop. I'm so looking forward to what's next. You left us on a great cliff hanger. Ulla:)))

This work has reached the exceptional level

Maggie was certainly set back when she looked at Demetrius. You did a wonderful job of describing the details of the story. Your transitions between now and then are smooth. Great job. Shirley

If only I had a six left... but I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity for sixes as I read the previous chapters. This is delightful, mesmerizing and so well-told. A wonderfully intriguing story, to say the least. I saw nothing at all I'd want to change. I'm anxious to read the parts I've missed but will wait until I have more stars to give... just in case. ;p MM

Oh, you really know how to make a girl feel good, Miss Merri!! ;) Thanx so much for stopping by for the read on this one and I'm so glad to hear you'll be joining Maggie and crew for the ride! :) Have loved being able to get back into it -- forgot how fun it is to 'get lost' in my characters!! ;) Thanx again, my lady, for the comments and enjoy the week! ;) Yvette

This is new to me. Seems it's great escapist fantasy for these challenging times. What an imagination you possess dear Yvette. Cherish this precious gift.

The chapter is intriguing as Maggie is smitten by the charismatic Demetrius who seems to have magical powers.
I'll try to catch up.

Stay safe healthy and keep on writing

Blessings Julia

Hope you do fine the time to backtrack, Julia, and I will be keeping up with this one: we'll call it my 'writing therapy through tough times'.... ;) :) I do find that when I'm lost in a story (especially one with the many nuances I've written into this one) that the issues I can't fix seem to fade into the background - and that is so very important sometimes!! ;) Looking forward to having you dive in and join me! ;) Yvette

I find this story to be very much the attention grabber. This is the only part I have read, but I felt that the characters were very relatable and the story easy to follow.

Thanx so much for stopping by on this one, Monica -- you should try to do some 'catch up reading' on the story as it'll be a great 'distraction' from everything over there! ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

Such an interesting story, Yvette! I've been really busy lately so not up to date, but from this chapter alone I can tell there is great characterisation and a well developed story so far.

Hello Yvette.

I had to try to recall some of the events from earlier reading to put me back in the place where I can understand what is going on. There are two reasons for that: it's been a while, and I'm 74. The second reason is the biggest.

You use lots of descriptive terms to bring the scene alive and I would have to say that is the one feature that I like the most. I like to read complicated stories that fill my mind with visual images. That makes reading so much easier for me.

This is my favorite line: "Wow, that was lame." That one made me LOL.

LOL - yeah, that was just so 'real Maggie' there! ;) :) Thanx so much for stopping by for the read on this one, Z - know it's longer than most and I do so appreciate your time and your support! :) Hope to keep this on track and my good mood along with it - forgot how fun it is to 'get lost' in my characters!! ;) Thanx again, sir, and enjoy the week! ;) Yvette

    Hey Yvette.

You're welcome. That line caught me just the right way. I can't write anything too long or with chapters. I get bored reading me after 1000-2000 words. I seldom go over 500.

Good morning, Yvette

Maggie had the unexpected urge to reach out and fix a stray black hair on the side of his head--nice touch

And the smile that spread across her face was in direct response to all that he was.-- oo err!

A few of the well-dressed gentlemen gave her a very disturbing [once-over]

"They are good company for long night hours, my lady." Maggie saw a spark of mischief in those onyx eyes.--I see trouble ahead, Yvette :)

Silence reigned as Demetrius' eyes continued to [telegraph their amusement.] -- I like your description here.

Well, well, well... I'm left wondering and wanting to read further... I'm definately left in the lurch now :)

Interesting and feels mystical

kind regards

tracey

Thanks for returning to this. I can't keep all the full cast members straight but I was hoping to know more how Addison and Bongo were getting on. Seems like Maggie is going to find out more about her true identity which everyone else seems to know about.
