Hi, Deb! Know it's been a while but I'm trying to catch up now. :) At first, I thought it was the next chapter but I remembered you said you'd be cutting the chapter in half and posting the other half. And, oh! I realized how the title fits the book now, I went back and read some of the older chapters, including the one where Cody had gone on a run and was talking about how Pam looked for the star Orion. I think that's a great title for this story, it's almost like, Looking For God if you know what I mean. I'll be looking (haha) for the next next chapter.

(P.S. I have another idea for a one-page horror. Is it too late it do it or are you still getting the book together. Let me know!

Hi AJ! I think we've been playing tag here. lol
First, thank you SO much for the exceptiolna rating for this chapter. I've been riding so much on action/adventure that I worried that the slower chapters woulldn't do as well. I appreciate you!
And, yes, I'm still hoping to get enough material to make a book of at least 32 pages. Two of my writers fell through (leaving you and me!) and I
ve been slow to put it up on FS. How do I 'reject' a story for a writer here? But how do I keep the quality high if I accept everything submitted? Sigh...
Anyhow, let's try to get it up!
    I'll touch base tomorrow. :)
    Blessings,
    Deb

It's good to hear Jack speaking with a little more definition about the Lord, that's so true, we have an invincible defender, which terrorists don't have, without fear of contradiction. After all Jack and Cody have gone through, they are still on the winning side. Well done, Debora, good scribing, blessings Roy

This is well written and moves the story along. It looks like Jack is making good progress with his outlook on God and his life. Cody is worried and I bet he is right.

How nice to see this back again, Debs, I have been waiting to see what happened next. Now the boys have something positive to think about, catching those two thugs. With Cody's detective skills, and Jack's determination, I'm sure they'll do it. God is always with them, and they know He will help protect their families. Lovely chapter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you, Sandra. Do you think I put the brakes on too fast? Not to grind to a stop, of course, but to slow it down before the last sprint to the finish. I'd value your input, as always.
    thanks for reading and commenting.

No, I don't. I think it was a natural flow of things. Both brothers have had a lot to deal with and you've spaced that out perfectly. I don't know how you are going forward with catching the other two members of that family, so that's something I have to look forward to. You've done a great job with this story, don't start doubting yourself now. :)) xxx

Deb,

Well, I liked the fact that, for all his seeming concerns, Cody was still willing to face this all out, potentially, at home.

Otherwise, these fine, strong, brave men would be turning into folks I just could not recognize.

Well written and enjoyable. Thank you!

That's so cool that Jack was able to work out his crisis of faith through all this. Sounds like together with faith, the two McClellan brothers will be able to catch the remaining Lehman brothers.

I am subscribing to this, finally he found faith in his heart and started to believe:"I've had six weeks, Code. First your little doctor got hold of me and made me think. And then the preacher started coming over a couple of days every week for morning coffee, answering questions, praying with me, putting up with my garbage. I got my head straight. I got my heart straight." Where have you been, I missed your posts:) Welcome back:)

I've missed reading ou, too, and hope to get all caught up. I ay not comment on all the posts, but I'm definately going to try to read.
    I
ve been in Alabama, in Austin (Tx) and trying to get kids back in school. It's been a rough month or so, but I am done giving this up for other activities. My son about had a stroke when he found out I wasn't writing. He expects this book out and published by the end of the year ... Yeah ... mght not happen. Just getting it to an editor by then might be an issue. lol
    But we'll see.
Thank you for such a positive and encouraging review!
    BLessings, my friend,
    Deb
