This is cute. The reader will be drawn in to identify with this situation. My cat's foster mom would love that arrangement. She'd get to have a few days off from breaking up fights. That's one of the reasons I have him living with me.

A very well-written humorous 5-7-5. The cat and the dog seem to have a perfect plan to annoy their owner. Only one behave while the other runs havoc and they get away with it.lol.

Very funny short poem!!! You describe them to be friends and have a good relationship, but as they have their instincts, they may behave but alternatively!! Very imaginative! Picture definitively is a key part of this poem and helps to give a natural side. Great choice!
