Well, looks like they're screwed. The middle of nowhere is not a good place to get stranded. I sure hope there is an eagle scout amongst them. Nice touch with the annoying smart phone.

Thank you for your amusing review. There certainly is need for humor in such a situation. Thank you for the perk about the phone, I wasn't sure if I should include that. I glad it appealed to you.

Liz,

Oh, wow. Sounds like these two have gotten themselves into a right pickle. I'm not sure how you'll get them out of it! BUT - that's also what makes this so fun... seeing how you do handle it. *smile*

Notes, if I may:
1.) Now that sickens me, Liz was shuddering(.) "(E)www. Creeepyyy. I don't think I want to know anymore."

2.) The first problem could have been a foreshadowing(.) "The fog is so thick we can't see anything."
--> remember the difference between sentences with just action, and speech tags.

Thanks!

(solemn/pensive ... dull/overcast--pick one; lay on horn s/b lie)

Masterful narration, compelling dialog (clarify who is speaking--seems like an a few places the same one speaks sequential one-line paragraphs) skillful depiction of characters. Footnotes appreciated. Cheers. LIZ

I'm sure in my absence I've missed a bit, but it seems the girls have been turned over to authorities and Liz and Linda are back on the road again...? Guess we're looking at another adventure... although I'm quite sure they're just ready to go home!! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Now that sickens me, shuddering, "ewww. Creeepyyy. --> [not sure who says this, but I believe the quotes are a little off...]

Thank you for your supportive review. You are right I needed to identify Liz as shuddering. You can go back to Chapters 11-13 to really get the impact. You do not need to review. Just enjoy. The girls were greeted in ceremony by their tribe. Authorities bacically do nothing. The non Native authorities list 300 murdered or missing when in fact there are at least 1300+ murdered or missing Native American women & teens ages 3-89.

This was absolutely great Liz. You recaptured the time leading up to their rescue and safe return of the girls. Fog is a nasty thing, especially when it is thicker than pea soup but you handled the description of it very well. You provided some great details as well. Nice picture choice.

The poor lady's adventure doesn't seem to be getting any better. I do hope their luck changes soon before they become victims. Your chapter is well-written, very interesting, believable start to finish. I look forward to reading more. 3-89 no one is safe.

That is a terrifying thought - how many times we have been in danger and we didn't know. Certainly, not the girls you mentioned in the story even though they had personal experiences. We each feel it wouldn't happen to us. Thinking about these things, we realize how often God rescued us and we never knew.
Is this a wrapping up or will Liz and Linda face more adventures?

This is actually a way to in corporate all of my previous chapters. I decided rather than have the girls' story be the end, I will have it be the first adventure recorded then we reflect upon all of then beginning activities. Thank you for your support and reflective review.
