I am touched by your poem. I too have experienced excruciating pain at the loss of a loved one. I could not imagine losing three in the same year. Thank you for sharing and celebrating faith.

I see that this post is an older one. I hope that as time has gone by that the pain you've felt has lessened. I can't imagine losing so many loved ones in such a short time. God doesn't give us answers for what He does. I guess that's where faith comes in. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Tom sadly I lost another after this poem was written for a total of four lost in two years. Constantly grieving I just push on writing helps.

So comforting at a time when I sorely need it. This coming Sunday I will bid another one adieu. I was bless to spend some of her final hours with her. Yet I had no idea it would be the last. She was a fighter. Selected artwork and words help bring me peace. Best wishes with your entry.

Such true words you have written. Our faith is often tested, but we always find the strength to go on. So sorry you have lost so many loved ones this year. It has been a hard year for so many families. I pray the Lord continues to comfort you.

"Your wings were ready even though our hearts were not" . The flying wings of light in the sky, but the hearts on earth are so heavy when we lost the most loved ones in our life. "Faith, hope and joy" will lift us from our sadness and give us strength to face the tomorrow in the good memories of our loved ones.

When someone enters the golden gates, we are not always ready even though they are....I have a friend who lost three relatives within a year. It is very difficult on the soul and heart.
