A lovely Minute poem about this little lavendar bloom when all else is browning off. We have a very similar flower, a bulb that same colour, but I don't recognise any of the other names. Your line -you give hope - I agree, I think that's what a garden does. Nice one,

I especially like bulb flowers but to see one bloom in autumn is a special rallying cry to courage. Hope you are enjoying the beauty of your garden as you must be coming up to spring now. Thanks for reviewing! Hugs!

I have crocuses that will appear
in the autumn, their
green shoots...but they're my
spring crocus, so I'm glad they
don't bloom!
Love the phrase 'flower shy'...
