Thank you, Tina, for offering kind condolences to Yvonne in the lines of your sweetly rhyming and comforting poem. Like you, I don't know the lovely lady Yvonne especially well, but I think we all know grief, and we know enough about life to realize what a devastating loss she is experiencing. Your beautiful image of the Virgin Mary with her reflection on the peaceful water reminds us of an obedient and godly woman who brought the Son of God into the world, only to watch Him cruelly taken away from her, even as God Himself willingly, and painfully, gave up His Son Jesus for us all, that we might live. And so we will all have the chance to be with the Lord forever, together. This is not the end!

That's exactly why I chose that picture! It symbolized Gods plan, which isn't always smooth and easy.

It was her son that passed away. I learned from Helen's post.(lyenochka) I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child.

You are right. Theres something "other world-ly" about a prayer in poem form.
God knows Yvonnes heart and will give her peace eventually. She has been a great friend to me on FS and made me feel very encouraged and welcome here, as everyone has. I feel like FS is another dimension sometimes:)

Fanstory friends are so special. Yvonne has really encouraged me, being newish on here. She will need prayer for quite awhile. I cant imagine her feelings right now...Thanks for reviewing her poem:)
