It is never wrong to honor or memorialize your loved ones. For as long as we have breath, their memory is alive. I join you in your send up for your departed spouse.

These are melancholy grief-filled words and I am sorry for your loss, even with the passage of time, our memories are vivid and raw and still bring tears, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Hi Jay. I for one, can certainly understand your continuing love, but also, the somber moods that can creep into your life at any time of the night or day. They are out of our control when true love reigns. Bless you, my friend. Bob

A very well-written heartfelt poem in remembrance of your beloved bride who was taken to heaven far too soon and the years since she passed you often still think about her.

This is s very beautiful tribute to your departed wife. Such loving words. Writing is healing it's nice to get it out in writing. I can't erase you from my mind a greater love I'll never find. Now you must go you must depart and leave me with a broken heart. My heart fills with joy and pride as I recall my lovely bride. Well done.

While not a poet myself,
What I look for not so much the words but do I feel the poet's emotion in their words? Does the poet stir emotions in me?
Your words certainly make me feel sadness and your love

I am happy you can find such comfort in writing about your lovely wife. Treasured memories can wrap around us like a warm quilt. Thank you for sharing your sentiments.

Aw, Jaybird, I can well understand that. The one you love, you dear wife, might have been taken home, but no one can take those memories away from you. I, too, have memories, but sometimes the sadness clouds them. Write more poems about her, keep her alive in your pen and in your heart. I loved your poem, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

This is such a beautiful remembrance of one that was truly loved and sadly missed. Your rhyming sequences are dear and the rhythm beats a lovely harmony. Nicely composed.
