Being a 'horse' person, I really enjoyed this - and congratulations on such an interesting journey through the alphabet. Just one point: you have four photos side by side but you don't say what the fourth photo represents. Of course, it doesn't distract from your article at all but some of us need to know!
Cheers
Judy

There is a story behind the four photos. I couldn't find the name of that one, when I research the picture, it gave me the three names. So, I edited the pic to only show the three names I had. But when I copied and pasted the whole page onto FS, the original picture came. At least when I publish, it won't happen for the book.
I'm really pleased that you enjoyed this one, you being a 'horse' person makes this review even more encouraging. I'm also grateful for all your support, the help you've given me and just being so kind. Thank you. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is presented in such an engaging way. Having several pictures by animal babies is something kids love, and fun facts are a hit too. I will have to check out the rest of the alphabet you have written about too:)

Hello Sandra,
Z is for zip, zoom, zest, and zussess.
Sleeping while standing up? I could never be zebra.
I would never get any zzzzz's.
We have a whole bunch of those Zedonks in Washington.
Love the poem, all the notes, and the great art work.
Best wishes for a dazzling success.
Stay safe, my friend.
Robert

Stripes, stripes, everywhere I look I see stripes. This was a wonderfully informative read. I have just learned much more about zebras than I ever imagined possible. I thank you for this awesome information. I will never look at zebras quite the same anymore. Thank you.
Oh and by the way, congratulations on reaching the end of the alphabet.

Okay, so I'm liking the two-toned guy -- never saw one like that: he's my fav! :) Think it's so cool that they share enough DNA with horses that they mate (some ranches in Africa had advertised such years ago if I remember). But I just would love to read more on the biology of the spotted one... is it just on the young ones like deer or did it actually mature with spots? Hmmm... A wonderful ending to your collection, Sandra - CONGRATULATIONS!! Thanx for teaching us and for sharing some fun wisdom about animals we thought we knew everything about!! ;) Good luck with publishing! ;) Yvette

From my research, the spotted zebra was very rare, in fact it doesn't say if there ever was another one. How he got his spots, no one knows. I did wonder if it was a leopard that fell in love with a nice looking female zebra, and just couldn't bring himself to kill and eat her. Aw, wouldn't that be romantic?? LOL. Thank you so very much for the six stars, my dear friend, and the fabulous review. Most of all, thank you for all your support, you've been great. Warm hugs, my friend :)) Sandra xxx

So, I've been in a weird funk and away for awhile. However, I was so glad to have read this today. I don't know what it is but animals just make me smile. We use to go to bed every night to animal documentaries. Their just so cool

Wow! Thats a lot of information about zebra. I never realised that there are different types of zebras, not to mention the different types of sounds they make! I also learned that 'dazzle' and 'zeal' are the herd names... I am sure your grandson is very proud of you.

I really like this Sandra. I've liked all your entries in this book you're writing for your grandson, and I really hope he enjoys them. Kids love animals, as do adults actually. I think you should maybe look at publishing it, or self-publishing if it's easier. I'm sure lots of kids would enjoy reading this. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Sandra Mitchell,
Z is for Zebra - The last , but not least!
As usual, It's also having lucid as well as perfectly matching the theme phraseology, captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end laced with both verse and prose, and beautifully depicting Zebra's different types, their chief characteristics, habitats, moreover, their love-products in detail.
Pictures enhance depth and beauty of the theme.
All's well that ends well. SUPERB.
Best of Luck!
