So, Yes I am so very happy. There is no rush, we have all of November. Yes you have free subject choice. She loves flowers and gardens, she has 6 much adored grandchildren, and two baby grandchildren. Her favourite seasons are the half ones, autumn and spring, she loves dogs and cats.

Technically you have to find the book 'blessings for Barbara' (at the moment that seems to be by opening up 'Happy Birthday Mummy') and you will find a tag 'add chapter'. Click on this, and post as usual.
I am so grateful to all the people who have pledged an entry. I can't wait to read them. I have never created a mixed author book before so I guess this could be a major learning experience.

Thank you for this fine review. Yes, I think it should work. And yes, I may have gone somewhat over the top on the font size... I can always modify that in a couple of days when I am a bit less stressed (November is coming too fast.

This poem, Happy Birthday, Mummy, comes as a surprise to everyone I would think. The words suggest that this is the beginning of a tome dedicated to either a British mother, or a mummified being capable of receiving birthday greetings. Let's lean towards the first.
