Okay -- you got me on this one, my lady.... your title says 'Ducky' but the words read whiskers and 'meow'... help?? I do like the use of the repeating line to indicate your searching or he's searching for the other... :) Great job! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Hi Iza. Well, this is wonderful! A perfect page for a children's book. I can see the illustrations coming life in a whimsical form. I'm a designer, not an artist, but I think if you found a good illustrator, you have a winner with this style. Maybe you already had that in mind, but anyway well done.

Hello Brad, I didn't have anything in mind, but this is a great idea. I entered or should I say, forgot to post this in the Whisker Whisker contest:) I am so happy that you like it:) Have a blessed day

This is odd because the title is Blackie the Ducky and I'm expecting a duck but it's obviously a cat. I can't help but think this poem is really for Pisa. Thanks for sharing the fun-sounding poem.

You are so right, Blackie was my English name for my beautiful and sweet Pisa. We had to have one for the paper work and the vet. She come to us from the Animal Shelter as Katniss, and in my head was sounding like Catnip:) which you know is the marijuana for cats, so we changed that to Blackie . I left for my vacation for my birthday and forgot to posted for the contest, so here it goes:)
