Nice work up and presentation, it's sad but we try to keep their mind from going by showing them pictures and reading the letters to the itvdimetimes parts memory.

You are so right is not an easy task to look after a person with Dementia. In the end we can do so much, for the rest God takes over:"Stunned and confused I bear the terrible instance;
'Who is this woman living with me?'
I know love overcomes all
And yours is permanently imprinted in your heart
God takes over.

Such a touching poem! "...work done is seven times repeated" Love presses on.
And I know what you are talking about. I cared three long and difficult years with all the love I had in my heart for my husband, suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and terminal cancer.
Without deep love, it would have been impossible.
