You have used your ten words effectively in this timely piece. There are those who still are almost totally isolating, those who are still like "DUH! What pandemic?!" and those in-between. I'm in-between.

This ten-word poem, Corona Effect, has the proper word count and finds that the pets are made curious by our odd cloistering.

A very well-written ten-word poem about the effect of the coronavirus that keeps the humans in their cages and the pets wonder what happen that they are not taken for walks anymore.

Amen, my friend! I don't know about all of you, but I feel locked in a cage. Maybe we're all on one giant Time-Out, hehe.
Great image, very timely,
Good luck in the contest,

How things can radically change when we take another point of view!!! This is clearly expressed in your writing. Picture plays in this case a main role as without that dog, poem would be totally "left in the wind". But picture adds a sense of humanity and "closeness" to what we have seen worldwide.

This is a fine thought for the 10 Word Poem entry. Sometime short thoughts can really hit the spot, touch our heart, and even be encouraging. Well done!

Corona effect indeed. Wryly ironic--what a twist--dogs on the loose whilst we're locked in our cages. Well and concisely stated! Good luck. Cheers. LIZ

locked in their cages? " We are in cage indeed. Thank you for sharing and good luck wit the contest.

Haha - yes, it must be confusing for other creatures. Everything has been turned on its head... it does feel like we've been locked in our cages, even if they are nice surroundings, we've lost many former freedoms. Cute picture - portrays that perplexed expression well, to reinforce your poem.
