Best of luck with your "100 Word Story" writing prompt entry. While I understand the theme and subject of this story and the characters are well defined, I'm not sure about the Title relating to the story. What was the miscarriage of "Justice?" Best regards.

Cynthia had a miscarriage. Losing a baby is upsetting. She's been punished for having an affair. Her husband is abusive. In an ideal, just world she should have been happily pregnant and welcoming her child... but she's had a miscarriage instead.

In a brief 100 words, you've told a harsh, heartbreaking story. You have chosen the title quite carefully which, after reading the piece, reflects the irony of its theme. Nicely achieved and good luck in the contest!

Thanks for your review, and especially for noting the title. Another reviewer did not understand its relevance.

Wow, that's quite a turn! Now, excuse my density (lol), but I don't know what was the "small shape curled, sleeping, in the bottom of the white bowl." I thought of a baby. But would they put him in the bowl? (lol).
Anyway, I think it would be dynamic entry in that contest, and I wish you luck in the booths.

She had a miscarriage in the toilet bowl. It's a foetus. I wrote 'sleeping' just to keep the mystery... but it never took a breath.
