This is a creepy story and I like the atmosphere you create. The brotherly relationship is the well developed and even if we don't know what happened, it was obviously something terrible though which makes the story even more interesting. Thanks for sharing this and have a great day

wow Mia, your words " hatred leaves you empty" are so true imo. this is a most compelling poem with a very unique theme. how terrible that the universe has to give him what he deserves.

Stunningly savage! Startling and fresh imagery--as if the gods were crying ... wind shoved him away as if ... cyclone swept in ... denying. Great closer. Good luck! Cheers. LIZ

This one-hundred-word story, Raging Water, has the required word count and seems to end a bizarre tale that we can only imagine.

Well, Mia, I see you do like the dark side of the coin. This is a good story. A story that can be developed to fill the papes with about 1000 to 5000 words. I like the twist of the cyclone. :) Thank you for sharing your writing.

I indeed do. It helps take out my frustrations so I don't become a serial killer.

Excellent entry for the
100 Word Story writing prompt contest. You did a good job telling a flash fiction story in 100 words. I wonder what the brother was trying to do to Mike.
Well done. Good luck in the contest.

I like this and the message conveyed in it. Hatred does leave one empty yet perhaps full at the same time. This reminds me of the biblical account of Cain killing his brother Abel. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

There is treachery and damnation in these words as murder can tear apart and kill all the love that ever existed and change the future forever, a chilling write, love Dolly x

A very well-written hundred-word story. To not accept another's popularity is a sign of hatred against someone who you envy because they have something you cannot have, it never satisfies the soul to get rid of the object that's causing the rage.
