This was very interesting. The poem flows well by the way. There is good information in this write-up, about the X-Ray Tetra and it is a rather beautiful looking fish. The sea-monkey has to be the ugliest thing I've have ever seen. LOL

Thank you so much for another lovely review, Ralf. They might be tiny, but they really are lovely. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

This is a very interesting post. I used to have little fish that you could see through, but they were called Rainbow Fish and had shorter bodies. They came in all sorts of soft pastel colors.

I didn't realise it until I started researching this Tetra that there are several different kinds. Another lady has the Lemon Tetra, they are all see through, but have different features. Isn't it facsinating? Have a wonderful day, my friend. 2 left to go. :)) Sandra xxx

I really like this one Sandra. I had a small freshwater aquarium when I was about 12, and my best friend next door would walk the mile and a half to a store named Grants to buy tropical fish. We never lost a fish that way. There was also a GC Murphy store four blocks away that sold tropical fish. I bought plenty of neon tetras. I think they're the prettiest of the tetras. They shine like neon lights, and they have transparent parts also. They're a small, but really hardy fish.
Your story brought back memories for me.
I like your series, Sandra.
I told you I would get to some of your other chapters.
I have some moderate physical problems, as well as some depression (I am fine, but it slows me down when I want to get things done).
Have a great Labor Day Week, Sandra.
Cindy

I had some neon tetras years ago when I had my aquarium. I had to sell it all when we moved to Spain. Since coming back to England I've been thinking of getting another one. Thank you so much for your lovely review, Cindy, I'm so pleased it brought back some nice memories for you. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

The 6 is for your entertaining series. Now that you are at X it is nearly finished.
I had these little fish when I was younger, but I certainly did not know all these fascinating facts. What marvels of design and versatility they are!

Thank you so very much for the six shiny stars, Lisa May, and your lovely review. That was so kind of you. Yes, nearly at the end now, two left to go. I might write another one in the future, but I have another book I've started that will be posted after this one. That one is pure fiction. :)) Thanks again, my friend. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xxx

I actually have a few of those, tho the shop I got them from called them lemon tetras. They seem to like hanging out with the neons and they go for pretty much any kind of fish food. Love the pictures. My cat is more interested in the pleco than the tetras. She goes nuts when she sees it swimming along with its mouth on the glass.

Thank you so much, Cindy, for your lovely review. I think there are quite a few tetras of different sorts. Another reviewer had a few rainbow tetras in her aquarium, all were different colours of the rainbow. Others had the x-ray tetras, and your lemon tetra. I'm going to see how many varieties there are. I can just imagine your cat doing that. Those cleaner fish are really ugly, at least, the ones I had were!! LOL. Thanks, Cindy! :)) Sandra xxx

As unusual, your research is, as always, quite well researched Sandra, the Ex-ray fish are amazing indeed, and have great capacity, except, as you say, to survive the very careless stewardship of mankind. I managed to post off your CD Sandra last week, I have no idea how long it will take to get there. Well done, blessings. Roy

Thank you so very much for your lovely review, Roy. I didn't think I'd find much of interest in this little chappie, but there is not a single creature put on God's Earth that He didn't give a reason for. How amazing is that!!
Thank for for letting me know you have posted the CD, I can't wait to listen to it. I'll let you know when it arrives. Thank you, dear friend. Much love. Sandra xxx

This is a stunning piece. Good for children 5 through 80 (smile). It is thoroughly engaging, educational, interesting and boasting the most beautiful pictures. Your fishes come to life! Great descriptive imagery and visuals.

Thank you so much for sharing this.

What a wonderful review, thank you so much for this, Eternal Muse. The six stars are a lovely bonus. I'm delighted you enjoyed reading this one, and your comment about the fishes coming to life, is so encouraging! Thank you! Have a great day, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Ah, you are coming to the end of your book. I see some the verbiage used has increased in complexity, but that makes sense. If a child has read this far then they have been learning all along and so by now they would have fuller understanding.

Well done.

Good morning, Lancellot. Thank you so very much for the six stars! I am going to take another look at some of the words I have here, you're right, though, in my thoughts of their understanding will have increased by the end. But there are a couple I might need to explain more, or change. Thank you so very much for all your support, my friend. Two left to go! :)) Sandra xxx

I used to have several of these in my college aquarium. Fun fish to watch!

I was wondering what the 'X' was going to be about!

As usual, a fun and informative read.

They are so relaxing, just watching them in the aquarium seems to take away the stress of the day. Thank you so much for reading this one. Two left to go! :)) Sandra xx

I enjoyed your very informative post on the X-ray Tetra. I didn't know that's what they were called. Your other choices might have been xerus (type of squirrel) xenops or xenarthra.

Thank you, Helen, for reading this one. I checked out the Xs and decided on this one because many would have them in their tanks at home. Now they know a bit more about them. There was more to these little chappies than I thought there would be. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. Two to go!! :)) Sandra xxx
