I had no idea there were fish with x names. You taught me something new. Good pictures to go with it. I would lower the age range. My five year old reads stuff like this. Go age 7 at least.

Thank you! Knowing what ages to put down is always difficult. If your 5-year-old would enjoy this, I'll definitely drop the age group when I have it published. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this one. Only two left to do. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra

They are the coolest aquarium fish because you can see their insides 'moving' and stuff -- yeah, I'm a weird mom that took her boys to that department in the store to point that out -- lol!! ;) :) A great addition to the book, my lady! ;) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette

Thank you, Yvette. I like them too. Didn't your sons want you to buy them a tank and some of the tetras? I know mine would have done. Lol. I can just see you pointing out their innards to your boys, LOL. Thank you, my friend. :)) Sandra xxxxx

In didn't know that tetras are both fresh and salt water fish. I've missed quite a few of these but I learn something about everyone I have read. "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you."

Who would have thought a bladder could be connected to the ear? Shudder the thought in my case! This might have been short, but it's still really interesting. I didn't even know they existed, far less any of the salient details. My thanks again for the information imparted in a way that educates and entertains!

We have some x-ray tetras in our fish tank. I was wondering what you were going to use for the letter x. I couldn't come up with any, never thinking about these fish. I really enjoyed reading.

Thank you, Barbara. There are a few of you on here that have them in their own fish tanks. I had some neon tetra's years ago but had to sell the whole tank when we moved to Spain for a few years.
Thank you so much for the six stars, and the lovely review, my friend. Stay safe. :)) Sandra xxx

Who knew you'd find an animal using the letter 'X.' I'll bet you did a little research before you set out on this venture. It would really be a bummer to get through so much of the alphabet only to have to stop in your tracks.

On second thought, maybe you made this up. How many people are going to Google it to find out. Only kidding! Another job well done. Hugs, Lou

It was really hard, Lou, and then to find out some facts about such a little thing, well, I was pulling my hair out! I've had some reviewers tell me they have them in their aquariums at home. And, not only the X-ray tetra, but the Rainbow tetra, the Lemon tetra, and the Neon tetras! I've opened up a huge bag of these little fishes! Lol.

Thank you so very much for the six stars, dear friend, and the lovely review, and you were almost right. I had got to G or H when someone mentioned that little X letter. Then I had a mad panic and started checking them out. This is the genuine one of a kind, X!! LOL Two left to go, and yes, I have them lined up waiting for the research to kick in. Thanks so much for all your support, you've been fun and so kind. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Hello Sandra,
Xcellent story about the X-ray Tetra for your book. We had a fish tank with Neon Tetras when I was young, a bit more colorful then their X-ray cousins.
When the young hatch, there are a lot of little small fries swimming around. :
Did you ever read the story about Raymond Tetra? When he got divorced, his wife told many funny stories about her Ex, Ray Tetra. :)
Fun post, only two to go.
Best wishes.
Robert

Lol! If I was a man and had a name like that, I'd change it to Fred or Sid! That is just too funny to be true! You are such a tease, Robert!
Thank you so much for the lovely six stars, and this fun review. Yours is the 3rd review I've had that has mentioned owning tanks and tetras. I've had the Rainbow tetra, the Lemon tetra, and two Neon tetras. I had neons and hadn't heard of the others. Thank you again, my friend. Enjoy your day. :)) Sandra xxx
