This one tells a great story!
It would be fun the have two squirrels visit each morning for breakfast. (But at my place, I suspect, they would be the first course. We have four stray cats that the neighbors enjoy near us.)

My mother used to do a similar thing. She left clumps os peaniut butter for them. She hoped they leave the birds' food a lone. It worked sometimes. So fun to hear your mother did the same. Thank you.

This is a delightfully entertaining animal study with the squirrels interacting with mom for their breakfast treat. Kids should love it.
I suggest a couple of corrections:
Mom has regurlar(regular) visitors every morning.
They're thankful for Mom(add a comma here) for them life isn't so hard

What a cute story! I can totally picture the scenes playing out. I love their names too. I've known many people who have made a relationship to a member of wildlife. The scariest was my Great-Grandfather had an alligator he feed. I'd rather have your cute little squirrels.
