-Great artwork, Rod.
-You can't go wrong
with Rockwell.
-A clever story about
Miss Adams and her
4th grade students.
-Mary Lynn certainly had
a big announcement.
-That is some dentist,
keeping all of those teeth!
-The announcement is priceless,
as well as the teachers.
-It would be fun to see a
follow up of what the teacher
did after that!
-Good luck in the contest.

You are very welcome, Rod. I think it would be very fascinating, too!

A very well-written eighty word surprise flash fiction. To everyone's surprise the tooth fairy's identity is revealed when a bright observant girl notices the dentist with all children's teeth in a jar.

How does a teacher ever present such a good planned lesson to follow that drama. I've always felt teahers are frustrated actors. Iknow I still am one. I've pried my trade in all of my follow-up careers. So, I'm putting my money on the teacher to have modified whatever she had planned to match or surpass the competition.

you captured (and gave your reader) the little girls excitement in so few words. I enjoyed and thank you; you also found the perfect picture to bring your story along.

Thank you, Mary, for your kind review of my story. Rockwell?s paintings all tell stories, and I merely followed his lead.

Hi, Dolly. I do think girls would have a different response to Mary-Lynn?s ?news? than boys would. Many thanks for sharing my shortie.

Cute story though the girl was a bit of a smart aleck. Since the teacher winked, I guess she didn't mind having the girl again.
What dentist keeps teeth in jars?

Hi, Karline. Thank you for sharing my shortie. I knew a dentist who made his own moldings for new teeth and kept the ones he pulled out in jars. This was back in the day when Rockwellpainted.

Charming! Reminds me of a child who said knowingly--it's my parents who put the money under my pillow--the fairy just takes the tooth! Good luck. Cheers. LIZ
