Joy comes in the morning if we open our eyes and heart to see. You describe that beauty so well, and rightly attribute it to Jehovah God.

You are confident and have faith in God, you know howsoever dark and dangerous the night and the environment may be, the morning sun will smile next day, you will act as Savior; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

Being able to view the beauty of His handiwork is a blessing any day, especially when you experience a day such as this. I love the beautiful and descriptive wording you use to paint this scene for us. Thanks for sharing this inspirational and well written work. Well done!

You have done a wonderful job of conveying the message of Psalm 30:5 in your poem. You describe the Speaker's trip down the mountain to the sea vividly. Especially noteworthy is your description of the morning sun in stanza one. I also applaud your use of ABCB rhyming.

-That is a gorgeous image,
and nice presentation, Janet.
-A well written poem to go with it.
-Very good imagery and rhyme
that paints a vivid word picture:
"This creamy yellow stream of mellow light."
-The mood is refreshing and pleasant:
"An eagle glides with grace into its light."
-A very good conclusion, too.
-I enjoyed your poem and appreciate
the good thoughts.

You are very welcome, Janet. What was the artwork you used? It was stunning.
-
I actually found this one on Google but the poem was inspired by a painting (very similar) by Norman Lowell of Anchor Point, Alaska. He has a gallery there and my grandson is the curator. You can look Norman up on line and see a tour of his gallery with my grandson doing the narration of a tour. Norman is now in his late 80s and legally blind but his artwork is divine. Thank you for asking.

Thanks, Janet. This is an amazing story. It sounds like your grandson has a good opportunity, although I guess museum's aren't open yet. I wonder if health issues are better in Alaska?
-
They are better in Alaska. One grandson got married in Wilmington NC and the family wore masks and only a fraction of the family could attend. Another grandson got married in Fairbanks Alaska, no masks and lots of family and friends could attend.
The gallery is trying to get by by hosting virtual tours and selling prints on line. Hope next year is better for them.
Stay safe and well.

Thanks for sharing, Janet. I looked at some of the paintings and they are gorgeous. I think we all want things to be better soon!!

Very inspiring poetry, Janet. You have painted so many morning pictures that we all may see and not appreciate fully as we should. I liked these lines especially:
"Those predawn shadows quickly are erased
when Sol brings vibrant glory to the day."
Good writing from start to finish, my friend. Bob
