Your poems are all a rich tapestry of contemplative thought, quiet observations--infused with faith and offered, graciously, to the reader as a gift of respite and reflection. Kudos again for a lovely photo that so compliments your excellent verse!--Karenina

Thank you Karenina for this lovely review. I love the "tapestry" analogy. One of my favorite words.

Yes, each day of life is a gift as is the beauty we see in the world. Sunrises and sunsets are some of the most beautiful times of the day.
The picture works well with your images but lacks the eagle.
Keep writing and stay healthly.

Hello, my friend,
I like the imagery and presentation, like the quality of mellow light and the appreciation of a beautiful nature scene. It does remind one of God.

'The morning sun spills o'er the mountaintop' and 'Those predawn shadows quickly are erased' ... Both of these lines create beautiful pictures. Well said.
I enjoyed the positivity of your writing.

A beautifully scribed work, in praise and an appreciation for His fabulous work in our lives that move us to write about His wondrous grace and the gift of just knowing, has to be a gift that overwhelms us. Beautifully written Janet, an articulately crafted, a pentametric wonder and abcb rhyming, well done, blessings Roy

The sentiments expressed here are uplifting - momentarily at least, while we read these glorious sentiments in praise of God and His gift of Nature, we can allow ourselves to let go of our worldly cares

Each God-given day is to cherish and enjoy, to be thankful for. After the dark of the night, not only you and me, but all of nature awakens. As so eloquently described in this glorious poem, the morning's sun spills over the mountaintop. But when the sun turns the world in golden glow we know God is there, sending us hope and strength.
Beautiful poem.

Amen ! The last stanza was especially exceptional because it reminds us of the need to be grateful for the gift of life . This poem tells a truth and reminds me of the need to be thankful, also it's well written. Excellent, thanks much for sharing

Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5
This is so true. Who can be be blue when they see the sparkling sunlight on the water or in the trees shining through in a dappled pattern on the ground.
Those predawn shadows quickly are erased
when Sol brings vibrant glory to the day.
An eagle glides with grace into its light
in search of breakfast in the tranquil bay.
Lovely, Janet. Nancy:)

A very well-written poem about the joy we experience in the morning when the previous day's pain and stress are behind us after a night of weeping. A very beautiful photo of an amazing sunrise.
