Hi Alcreator,
A good haiku(senryu?) written with much thought to the condensed form.
Although it was interesting to read the authors' notes, I preferred to read this as it was written and it still came across strong and made perfect sense in a veryy lyrical manner.

Reminds me of Braveheart and the Highland Scots. They had nothing but were a happy lot--until some laird wanted them to fight his annual war.
How highland huts grow love homes!

It is always more difficult for me to write a review on a haiku or senryu. This read more like a senyru to me before I read your author note. Now I see the nature theme underlying. This one seems to pack more into the 3 lines more so than the ones preceding it do. It's like writing a long poem and then having to condense it into the 17 syllables without losing meaning. Very lyrical phrases.

I think it's a wise idea providing descriptions for important words, although in a haiku, what word isn't?! Once again, you've excelled. Perfected penned. Very nice.

ALLCREATOR, this is another great haiku. I can just see you looking up on that hill, sprouting huts that gleam in the sun like marble and finest gold, lovers inside singing love songs to harps and mandolins. Must have been a very nice day that day of your muse. Very creative!

A couple of comments. It takes a lot of skill, talent and creativity to write a Haiku. This is great. I appreciated the Author's Notes. That helped a lot, but even without them, the Haiku was understandable. Well written. Very talented.
