Very beautiful expression of love! I only wish we didn't have to read notes and understood what it says from the very first read. I think anytime one has to refer outside of the text, the appreciations is cut down a nutch. Just a thought.

This piece was understandable with your notes. (we won't go into my philosophy about having to have author notes to understand how to read something)
You said it has a 5-7-5 lay out, but you're not calling it a Haiku. Then why bring attention to the 5-7-5 layout? ( I understand its not of a nature theme)
The picture is totally breath taking. If someone where to come along and start reading this without your notes, I'm afraid they would be lost to it's meaning.
But with the notes, it has a warm comfortable feel to it. I don't want to be the bad guy, but I want to give an honest review, because I really enjoy some of your work and look forward to reading more in the future. I might just give you enough of a different view point that you can get something from it. I do wish you the best with the book. lkdunny

Very good as far as the 5-7-5 goes. Even without the explanation I was able to pick up on the energy of the piece. The photograph fits perfectly and complements the words so they in all their brevity take on life.
