This really made me laugh as I was reading it, especially the fact that Bill still wouldn't let his wife forget about the time she crashed into a tree forty years earlier. That's a long time to hold something against you. I also thought the ending was nicely tied up as well. A well written piece, Beth. I enjoyed reading it.

I love this little script. It's well-written, interesting. I chuckled all the way through. Probably because I can relate. I hit a curb three years ago, blew a tire, hubby won't let me forget. Yet my backseat driving saved us from numerous wrecks. Good luck with your contest.

Thank you so much for the review and stars. It's based pretty closely on something that happened to me and my husband a few years ago.
I'm so glad you liked it.

Hahahahaha! Why does this sound so familiar? I have always driven a car, since I got my drivers licence at 18. But so did Carlo, he drove cars for years before we even met. When we went somewhere together, of course we went in one car. First, we decided who was driving. Then the other was sitting with cramped-up toes next...Oh! Careful! Traffic light turns red! Watch it, that idiot in front of us must be drunk, he is swerving, keep distance! I think we had to turn left here, Oh, no! That's a one-way street! and so forth and so on.

Well is is basically a true story. I yelled at my husband for passing Walmart after I'd told him we had to stop. He reacted without things and crossed in from ot two lanes of traffic. The cop stoped him but didn't give him a ticket when I said it was my fault for yelling.

The differences in driving style! I am glad you didn't get a ticket.

This script is practical and realistic at every point and each description is appropriate to the calibration of characters to go spiral with conceptual maturity; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR

Ah, the old debate about who are the better drivers, men or women. In my experience, they're all loopy. The best way to drive defensively these days is to stay off the road!
Very nice portrayal of real life, Beth.
I wish you the best of luck with the Committee.

Peace, Lee

Thanks Lee, I appreciate your review and comments. You're probably right. I've not done scripts so I don't know if I did it write or not.

LOL. Yep, that's it. Amazing, I knew a couple by the same name. Last name was Smith. I can see this unfolding.
Sounds like a winner to me.
Well done Beth. You just might win this.

Thanks for the encouragement but this is one that goes to the committee so I won't likely win. I'm not a script writer. This actually happened to me and Evan when I yelled at him for passing Walmart. He nearly got us killed, and the cop let him go when I told him it was my fault. Thanks for the six stars. Don't forget the one you bookmarked.

Yes, and it is still funny. Sounds like me and my lady.
