Thank you, Melissa. It is a wonderful poem written in a (Rondaful?) poetic form. I have not seen this type of poetry. Yet, it is interesting. Does it use what kind of syllable count? 10 three times and one line or four? Your couplet (how many syllables?) You've been hidden away writing your poetry can you explain to me, please?

Hi Jose. It is a new form created by Dolly and I neglected to add the schematic to the notes. I will do that and you can see the rhyme scheme and internal rhyme requirements. Thank you!!

Great Rondaful. These are becoming quite popular. You bring your phrases together beautifully for your last couplet. Lovely imagery with silken swirls and sunset's robe. The soft colors "muted patterns" and "pale mountains" suggest the calming effect that comes with the sunset your describe. Lovely work. judi

You're very welcome. I don't think the Rondafuls have been around very long. You did an excellent job with yours. judi

As I've said many times, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But I'm not so blind and unperceptive that the beauty of your words combined with this beautiful picture don't warm my heart with appreciation for our blessings of nature. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ric... thank you for your warm and encouraging review. I learned all I know about poetry from this site. I take a lot of the classes that FS gives and it really has improved my writing. There is another class coming up in September if you want to learn about Meter... just a thought. Thanks again.

That this once a day event for most of us is a continuous event in reality is well put over in this rondaful. I like 'sunset's robe' and the alliterative silken swirls..

Sunset's robe is a lovely way to describe it. All the lovely colors. I like the idea of one happening every moment. Like the old saying 'the sun's over the yardarm somewhere.'

That was very beautiful. Although I am a sing song poet, and sometimes feel lost reading poems that do not rhyme. But I followed your very nicely. good luck with the contest. PS I am also new kid on the block. Started on June 5th 2020.

I so missed reading your great poems, taking virtual journeys with you. This poem is very well-written. Your great description paints a vivid picture in the reader's mind. Makes us feel like we are there seeing it for ourselves.
