Well I'm impressed with you're deep and true meaning in so few syllables! I enjoy these challenges- I write a lot of haikus- but the 2-4-2 is pushing it for me!

A powerful statement in this poem. I witnessed some marriages that lasted over 50 years. Yes, it's rare. But it's heartwarming when you see it, like in your picture. Great descriptive imagery and visuals. This should do very well in the contest, good luck in the booths.

In a few words, you get your message out loud in clear-and it's a message more need to hear. What happened to this life long love? Where has it gone? Why is it gone? Questions, questions. I am lucky to be surrounded by people who have had life long love, as a good example for me, and future relationships. This is a great poem, and good luck in the contest!

It's sad that it is rare.
In a few words, you get your message out loud in clear-and it's a message more need to hear. What happened to this life long love? Where has it gone? Why is it gone? Questions, questions. I am lucky to be surrounded by people who have had life long love, as a good example for me, and future relationships. This is a great poem, and good luck in the contest!

For many, it turns sour without working together on the relationship. Those people truly in love are maybe in the 5% range!

It certainly is rare these days. Nothing is so heartwarming as seeing an elderly couple who still show their love. Very nice 2-4-2 poem. Good luck in the contest.
